Adv. Pazhakulam Madhu is a highly accomplished legal professional, notary, and seasoned political leader representing the Ranni Constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. Born to E.K. Govinda Pillai, he has balanced a lifetime of active social intervention with a distinguished legal background.

Having completed his legal training at the prestigious Kerala Law Academy Law College in Trivandrum, his commitment to systemic change led him to secure a Master of Laws (LLM) post-graduation. Beyond running a prominent practice as an advocate and notary, his profound drive to address grassroots challenges propelled him out of the courtroom and into organizational public service.

Before his election to the state legislature, he garnered extensive governance experience as an elected member of the Pathanamthitta District Panchayat from the Enathu Ward (Ward No. 11), spearheading substantial infrastructure development and welfare initiatives while reliably serving as the Standing Committee Chairman for Education and Health at the local self-government layer.

നിയമസഭയിലേക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് അംഗമായി (ഏനാത്ത് ഡിവിഷൻ - വാർഡ് 11) പ്രവർത്തിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം, ആരോഗ്യ-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്റ്റാൻഡിങ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയർമാൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിലും ആരോഗ്യ-ക്ഷേമ പദ്ധതികളിലും നിരവധി വിപ്ലവകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വിജയകരമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കി വിപുലമായ ഭരണപരിചയം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
